Privacy.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your conversations to train outside models. You can export and delete your data at any time.
What we collect.
Your email address (so you can sign in), your payment history (so we can give refunds when asked), and the Remembrances you choose to preserve.
What we don’t keep.
Conversations in Light, Deep, or Imagination mode are not retained after the session ends. They happen, the companion remembers what mattered (in its own internal notes, never shown to you or anyone else), and the transcript itself is deleted.
The only conversations we keep are the ones you explicitly hold in Remembrance mode. Those stay in your account indefinitely so you can return, edit, refine, or combine them.
How the companion remembers across sessions.
Companions stay coherent across sessions even though most transcripts aren’t kept. They do this through a small set of internal notes — a handful of lines per session capturing what the companion noticed, the thread of an ongoing pattern, a dream-like reflection. These are written for the companion, not for you, and are never shown back to you, exported, or shared. They don’t reproduce what you said; they capture the shape of the relationship.
Who can see your Remembrances.
You. The AI model that’s holding the conversation with you. A small number of operations staff (today, just one person) when troubleshooting a specific issue you’ve raised, and only with your permission. No one else.
In particular: we do not pass your Remembrances to outside model providers for training. We do not sell, rent, or share them with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing partners.
Export and delete.
You can export your Remembrances from your account page at any time. You can also delete your account at any time, which removes your data within 30 days.
Children.
Our Aria is for adults. We do not knowingly accept accounts from children under 18.
Common questions about safety.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Both when it travels between your phone and our servers, and when it sits in our database. The encryption is handled by the same kind of industry-standard infrastructure that banks and hospitals use.
Can anyone at your company read my Remembrances?
Only the AI model holding the conversation with you, and only to do the work you’ve asked it to do. A small operations team (today, just one person) can access data when troubleshooting a specific issue you’ve raised, and only with your permission. No one else.
What happens if you get hacked?
We follow industry-standard breach-response procedures, including notifying affected users within the timelines required by law (within 72 hours under European rules; comparable timelines under California rules). Our infrastructure runs on the same cloud providers used by major financial and healthcare apps.
Can I delete everything you have on me?
Yes. In the app’s Settings, “Delete account” removes your conversations and Remembrances within 30 days. A small set of financial records (purchases, refunds) is kept for tax purposes but is anonymized so it’s no longer connected to you.
Where are my Remembrances stored?
On servers in the United States, run by a major cloud provider. Backups are encrypted and retained for a short window for disaster recovery; after that window, deleted Remembrances are gone.
